Importing Qlik Sense Pivot table into NPrinting Excel Report - Color expression

Hello,

 

I'm trying to import a Qlik Sense Pivot table straight into a Qlik NPrinting Excel Report but when I do that the table on NPrinting doesnt come with the color expression as it is in the Qlik Sense App.

 

I also replicated the pivot table as a straight table (in the qlik sense app) and NPriting is able to recognize the color expression in the staight table.

 

Why doesn't it work in the Pivot table?

I got the same result.

There is clearly a functional difference between the way NPrinting handles a color expressions for a table vs a pivot table.

I suspect that the pivot report is produced 'before' the expression can be applied.

So I have submitted an internal defect investigation. Please use this ID for tracking purposes. 

  • OP-8912: NPrinting report export does not respect color expressions for QS Pivot Tables

In the meantime, since this is a public forum, I also suggest that you start a support case and share the defect information so that this can be formally tracked and followed up.

I received a response from R&D and unfortunately this is actually a limitation at this time.

Yeah, they gave me the same aswer in the Support portal.

I'll have to wait and see if this will be fixed in the next release!
