Meta Data Scheduled Reloading

Hello experts,

I am learning NPrinting and I would like know more about manual and scheduled meta data connection reloads. When is best to do a manual or scheduled connection meta data reload. When scheduling report distribution is it the best time to do a scheduled connection meta data reload?

Metadata reload is only requires if:

• you use QlikView with LOCAL connection
• you have done modifications to your source app (added field, changed measure, added variable)

In all other instances you dont need to reload metadata at all. Other than having a schedule there is no difference between automated/triggered metadata reload and manual one.
