NPrinting Cache Status Error Exceeded maximum number of retries

Can anyone help? We keep getting above error, though sometimes we can successfully generate cache....

Qlik NPrinting September 2017 Version: 17.5.0000.0

QlikView Web Server Settings Service x64 Client Build Number 12.10.20600.0


Connection is verified successfully:

m  Engine: uknprintapp01

m  Initializing..

m  The connection parameters are formally valid.

m  The QlikView Desktop license is valid.

m  The Windows account used to run the Qlik NPrinting Engine is a local administrator.

m  The QlikView Server is reachable.

m  The account used to run Qlik NPrinting Engine belongs to the QlikView Administrators Windows group on the QlikView Server.

m  The specified QlikView Server has a valid license, and contains at least one document.

m  The document exists.

m  The specified identity can open the document.

m  Completed

First of all - upgrade to the Feb or April version and try again. It has completly different code for extracting metadata. I was having similar issues and were resolved after installing Feb version.
