Hoping someone can help. Having previously created reports in NPrinting, we recently had to make some changes to one of the reports. However NPrinting wasn't allowing fields to be added. When I attempted to drag their from the data tree on the left to the Excel sheet the icon remained as the 'no entry' symbol (black circle with a diagonal line through it). Our IT team completed updates to all Qlik products installed both locally and on our server and also ensured all Windows updates were installed. The problem however persists, even when I attempt to create a new report.
Has anyone else come across this issue? If so, how did you fix it?
Thanks,
Matt
Hi,
Check that the fields you are trying to add are still available on the source connection. Try to refresh the connection caches then close and re-open the Qlik NPrinting Designer and try to add the fields again.
Do a right click on the object in the treeview and select update to be sure that, for example, the fields of a table are updated.
Your installation was updated so be also sure you updated your local installation of Qlik NPrinting Designer. It must be at the same version of the server.
Best Regards,
Ruggero
