Hello,
is there a way to use NPrinting levels conditionally?
For example, I have a list of Data Quality results to show, so I create a level for <DQ_TITLE>, but now i want to only show DQs for departments 1, 2, 3 or 4, so I have this in NPrinting:
But obviously it just hide the TITLE, not the whole level.
Thank you.
Hi,
From your screenshot I suppose you are developing an Excel template. For Excel templates Qlik NPrinting has not a built-in feature to conditionally hide a level. You have to find a solution by using Excel feature like inserting a pivot table or a native Excel table etc.
A solution, in your case, could be to create a straight table, in the source Qlik Sense app, with only the rows that you want to have in the level and then create the level by adding the straight table instead of using the field. If you use the field you will have a level for each distinct value in the field, instead, if you use the table, you will have a level for each row of the table.
In PixelPerfect templates you can use formatting rules but I strongly suggest you to avoid to use PixelPerfect to create reports in Excel format.
Best Regards,
Ruggero
