Nprinting Publish task running failed

Hello,
After completing the configuration of all the prerequisite steps in Nprinting, we are unable to get one of our publishing tasks to work which still runs in error despite all the changes made. The execution report is not very detailed and does not allow us to identify the precise source of the problem.
Attached is this report.

Hi,

  1. check also the Qlik NPrinting logs https://help.qlik.com/en-US/nprinting/May2021/Content/NPrinting/AdministeringQVNprinting/Logging.htm not only the task execution page
  2. test one-by-one all the elements in the publish task: the connection cache must be generated correctly and Run Verification returns only green flags, the report preview in designer works correctly, you are not using unsupported stuff listed in https://help.qlik.com/en-US/nprinting/May2021/Content/NPrinting/ReportsDevelopment/Qlik-objects-supp...

Best Regards,

Ruggero

Hi,

Upgrade your installation to May 2021 or newer (I suggest to upgrade to latest GA that, at the moment, is May 2021 SR4).

May 2021 has the following issue solved (from the Release Notes):

Report generation ended with errors when print area spawns on full columns
Index was outside the bounds of the array when print area spawns on full columns. When a report template had a print area that included full columns, for example an A:A selection, the following error could occur: “Index was outside the bounds of the array”. This was because the print area range was expanded more than all available rows.

that generated the same error message visible in your logs.

Best Regards,

Ruggero

@Eurheca

You may have multiple issues.

In addition to Ruggero's comment, I found this error in your web engine log.

"Qlik.NPrinting.WebEngine 21.0.0.0 Qlik.NPrinting.WebEngine.Controllers.HttpHelper 20220503T202512.196+02:00 ERROR PF9SOEURHECA006 rte-dsit-dpco-eurheca@rte-france.com 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 Service exception serving the request http://donxxx-np.xxx.xxx-france.com:4996/npe/filters/464307ce-acc7-4c93-bd4e-b7284c6cf2f2/fields/108... Qlik.NPrinting.Repo.ServiceException: Invalid field numeric value: G76547"

Check your value type used in the creation of your filter associated with filter value G76547.

If it is 'numeric value is' change it to 'value is' and try again for this particular issue.

Also check that value G76547 actually exists in your app's data model.

Kind regards...
