We are having problems with our NPrinting server in sending emails with SMTP. It is working intermittently, i.e., some days it works well but in many cases it does not allow sending emails and the following error occurs:
Failed to send e-mail ERROR: The SMTP server has unexpectedly disconnected.
I'm not sure if it's a connectivity problem with the SMTP server.
We have NPrinting February 2018
Any comment would be helpful. Thank you

did you check the mail id got expired or port number changed?
did you tried to restart the services and check?
and restart the server as well and try once
this is SMTP server issue - could be anti-spam setting on it.

I am facing this same issue. Please help me out if possible

I have one report that is sent to Sales engineers weekly.
There are at least 10 engineers who didn't receive the reports from NPrinting but all other engineers don't have issues.
When I send those affected recipients one by one instead of a group, it works well.
Any suggestions are always welcome.
Hi, This is not NPrinting issue - it is SMTP server (mail server) issue. Please talk to your SMTP server admin as they need to check why their server is disconnecting!
It is likely due to anti-spam settings on SMTP servers, it thinks you are trying to send spam emails (many emails at the same time) so it disconnects source where emails are coming form (NPrinitng)!
So as I said before it is outside of the NPrinting configuration.

Please avoid to comment 3 years old conversations. Instead start a new one with your details, for example pay attention to add the label of the version you are using.
