Nprinting sftp connection issue

Hi All,

I am facing some issue while making connection with sftp server in N Printing tool.

I am trying to connect with internal sftp server, using Host, Username & Key.

But getting error "Connection Lost (error code is 10058)"

Credentials are correct, but still unable to connect.

Thanks,

Anupam

First, this error is generally associated with a problem on the SFTP server.

A google search should shed light on how you can proceed. This an external link. Use at your own discretion or type in Connection Lost (error code is 10058) into a google search.

  https://www.google.com/search?client=firefox-b-d&q=Connection+Lost+%28error+code+is+10058%29

Any similar issue in the past had been due to the SFTP server.

However and more critically:

You are using an unsupported version of NPrinting which you may or may not be aware. If you are not aware, I strongly urge you to begin migration planning and implementation as soon as able. Please contact your Qlik Account manager should you require assistance with this process.

To prepare for migration I suggest reviewing the NPrinting Migration Playbook here: https://community.qlik.com/t5/Knowledge-Base/NPrinting-16-to-NPrinting-19-Migration-Playbook/ta-p/17...

You will discover that sftp is not available in modern supported versions of NPrinting. The recommended feature is distributing report reports to a network location: https://help.qlik.com/en-US/nprinting/June2020/Content/NPrinting/AdministeringQVNprinting/Folder-des...

Kind regards...

Hi,

Error 10058 is an SFTP authentication error, not a QlikView NPrinting error. Please check that you inserted the correct username, password and FTP parameters.

Please also note that QlikView NPrinting 16 is no more supported. I suggest you to plan your migration to Qlik NPrinting 17+ (latest version is February 2021). Note also that sending to FTP is still a gap feature so it is not available in 17+.

Best Regards,

Ruggero
