Apologies in advance as i did see a thread on this last week which i can no longer find.
I have a Qlikview App with Sales for France, Spain and UK.
each country has a sales rep
France= John
Spain = Mary
UK = Tom
I've used the page function to set up country "levels"
I thought i could email France to John, Spain to Mary , UK to Tom using filters.
I'm comfortable with the "Import" function
Can someone link me to the final steps for doing this ?
Many thanks
Yes, that should work if you ensure the syntax is correct.
Check your user filter in the NP web console to ensure that it is imported correctly.
If you have created your country filters individually,
ie:
filter1: Country=France
filter2: Country=Spain
filter3: Country=UK
then you simply need to add them to each respective user as a user filter. See https://help.qlik.com/en-US/nprinting/April2019/Content/NPrinting/Recipients&Users/Create-users-filt...
You can also use the recipient import process to do this as well rather than doing it one by on in the NP web console interface.
So to take this a step further if Mildred needs the report for France and Spain, could i do this by setting [France,Spain] in the "Filters" column of the Users Tab in the Excel import template where the username is Mildred?
Thanks in advance
