Boa tarde, tudo bom? Att. Priscila
First to get an answer to a question on international forum I suggest to spend some time and ask question in English. Understand it may not be your native language but it neither is for me. so:
Good afternoon, how are you? Could someone from the community please help me with an error that occurred in an NPrinting report after updating the version from "Feb 2024" to "Feb 2025"? There's an email that has additional container layout objects (cards) in the HTML body. After the version update, they lost their reference, and I can't re-point/locate the container layout objects in NPrinting. Therefore, I would like to know if the container layout can be added to an HTML report in this new version of NPrinting, or if there are any limitations, as I couldn't find any in the Qlik documentation. Thank you in advance. Best regards, Priscila
Now to actually answer your question. Yes - you are right there is no documentation regarding Layout container. There is only this piece of help which states that objects in containers should work normally and that when using Dashboard bundle you have to make sure your NPrinting is compatible and on equal or higher version
I can confirm that i can find objects which are inside layout container and I can add them to NPrinting templates but they are not working and throwing error when trying to preview!
@Ruggero_Piccoli - can you add anything to this?
thanks
Good morning Lech_Miszkiewicz, how are you? First, I'd like to thank you for your time in answering my question and for sharing the Qlik documentation.
I have an open case in the customer portal and have been running several tests suggested by the Qlik support team, but
unfortunately, I haven't been able to resolve this issue. Please, is there anything we can test or check? Thank you again for your support. Best regards.

Hello @priscilafreire-msm
I would be useful to gather the exact versions of Qlik Sense and NPrinting (including patch numbers) and provide it here. You already mentioned Feb 2025 NPrinting - can you also confirm whether it is initial version or particular SR?
Also keep us posted with Qlik support outcome as this can be useful information for all other clients
thanks
Good morning! How are you? These are the installed versions that presented issues when updated together:
Initial release v14.231.5 (QlikSense) – May 2025
Patch 7 v14.231.16 (QlikSense) – May 2025
SR2 v25.5.8 (Qlik NPrinting) - February 2025
Due to this issue, which is still being analyzed by Qlik support, we are working with the previous version of Qlik NPrinting (February 2024) until the issue is resolved. If resolved, I will share the solution with everyone in the community. Thank you. Best regards.
Hi,
I agree with @Lech_Miszkiewicz 's first answer. Could you share the support case number?
Best Regards,
Ruggero
Hello Ruggero, how are you? I sent you a direct message with the Qlik support case number. Thank you.
Good morning! I apologize for the delay in responding to this post. I received a response regarding my open case with Qlik stating that the 'layout container' object will no longer be supported in the February 2025 version, which has made me quite sad, as using the objects in isolation can be quite laborious depending on the complexity of the report. My local Qlik partner in Brazil also addressed this scenario in another support ticket with Qlik, demonstrating the problem in the lab and receiving the same response from Qlik regarding the impossibility of supporting the 'layout container' object in future versions, with it only being possible to work with the objects outside the container in isolation. As a Qlik user for many years, I remain hopeful that this problem can be resolved in future versions. Thank you for the attention and support of all colleagues in the Qlik community. Best Regards.
