Qlikview Server connection error, N-Printing new setup

New NP setup Feb 2020 SR1

- Qlikview Server is reachable error while verifying server connection with Qlikview.

- QV version and QV desktop is same 12.4 SR3

Error logs below:

You must meet ALL of them!

Yes all the green ticks when clicking verify, except 1 cross, QlikView Server is reachable. All the pre-requirements and guides have been considered. IC

Ok i see,

I still think there is something missing from requirements:

  • do you have any firewall/ports blocked between QlikView and NPrinting? (check also windows firewall)
  • is your NPrinting engine service account part of "QlikView Administrators" group on QlikView server?
  • can you try and do what Daniel suggested here: by going to NPrinting server as a service account, opening QlikView desktop and trying to open QVP connection to document you want to use in NPrinting - are you able to do so?
  • Information provided in logs suggest issues with authentication  - that suggest that there is some sort of issue with engine service account setup...

If none of the above is relevant to your case i suggest you open support ticket.

Yes that's been done.

1 issue not sure if it's the case:

- We can't open the server using svc account due to securitym, however domain for QV & NP sever is same with QV a standalone box.

Hi,

I think you confused both. If you cannot RDP to server as service account you can still run QV.exe as a service account.
