Start NPrinting 17 task with XML request or command line?

Hi all,

I am using NPrinting 16 and I really like the possibility to trigger NPrinting with a XML request, since NPrinting does not have to work every 5 minutes...

Now we are thinking about the upgrade to NPrinting 17. Is it possible to use a XML request or command line to start a NPrinting task?

Or maby using the API?

currently there is no solution like the one in version16

there is an API , but it seems you can only call a specific report and not a task

I saw in the manual the next line, so maby we can request a task in a newer version...

referring to the new API documentation it should be possible now( haven't tried yet)
