Time Zone Difference In NPrinting

Hello,

We are using NPrinting 2021 February.

When we try to create a task with the time zone Europe/Istanbul for 13:30, it shows 12:30 in the "Next Execution" column.

But it sends the mail at 13:30 regardless. We think it is because of Daytime difference since we no longer use it.

How can we fix this?

Thank you.

So, it's been a year but I found the problem while looking for something else. In that time, this wasn't an urgent problem so we forgot it and moved on.

Now, what was the problem and what was causing it? The problem was the time difference between selected time and shown time of the task trigger times.

The cause for this was the user who logged on and setup the task (or trigger) was in a different timezone then the server's timezone. So by changing users timezone from the upper right user menu, it all fixed.

By the way, we also updated our NPrinting version to the May 2023 SR1.

Hi,

Time zones were updated in May 2021 SR3:

Time zones updated to 2021e
Jira issue ID: OP-95596
The list of time zones was updated from IANA 2021a to 2021e. 2021e was released on October 21st, 2021.

So I suggest you to start by upgrading your installation to latest available version (May 2022 SR1) and test with it. If you will still have the issue please open a support ticket: maybe we need to upgrade time zones again.

Best Regards,

Ruggero
