Question about intercepts in linear regression

I simply cannot seem to get my head around where the intercept is in a linear regression graph.

"The intercept is the point where the line of best fit crosses the y-axis" - doesn't the line go across the whole graph? What is meant by 'crosses'?

Any piece of advice would be hugely appreciated.
