Using Qlik AutoML with other BI solutions?

Hello, as a Qlik partner, I am developing a campaign to promote the use of Qlik AutoML in my country, for which I have implemented some of the demos that are available and I particularly liked the ones that allow developing what if scenarios and show the online result according to the changes of the variables of each algorithm.

Thinking about the campaign to develop and the type of client to whom I can offer and leaving for the moment the economic issue, the following concerns arose:

1 It makes sense to offer this solution to a basic power bi client (with a free or pro version), that is, one that does not have Premium (I understand that this version does have an AutoML module, of course with a high monthly cost compared to the free version or pro) or tableau or other tool that the client uses at the BI-only level and develop advanced analytics through Qlik AutoML?

(I think it might help those who have an advanced BI background, but are using R or Python to do advanced analytics, which would make it easier for them to get the job done faster.)

2 Initially I might think that I could have a Qlik Cloud version parallel to the client's BI version to use it only in AutoML, which could help me develop the model and then put it into production, but I can use it for prescription or simulation of what if scenarios in real time? Could I call the model from an API from python, r, power bi or any other tool?

I would appreciate any opinions and comments you can give me about it.

Hey @elio_espinozaco ,

Glad to hear you are working to promote AutoML and thanks for reaching out.

For question/point 1, AutoML on Qlik cloud makes it very easy for users to move back and forth between the AutoML interface (training, modifying, deploying, scheduling models) and Qlik Sense to generate graphics about the original data and also the predicted results and/or SHAP values (depending on the model type).

For question 2, this article has some helpful links to API options with models trained and deployed with Qlik AutoML.

Let us know if you have any additional questions and we are happy to help.

Best,

Kelly
