Can current license for Qlik Replicate used on new machine ?

I have a case where i need to move Qlik Replicate to another machine/server with a new hostname. Will I be able to use my current license (that has been applied previously to old machine) into the new machine ? The plan is to decom old machine as soon as Qlik Replicate is working on new machine

Thank you for contacting us via Qlik community.

If the current license has hostname added (for old machine) then you cannot apply the same one, unless new hotsname is updated in the existing license.

Hostname will be listed as below in license file:

hosts=

If the license doesn't include hostname itself in the license contents then it can be applied on new machine.

To modify the existing license, Please contact Customer support team with a support case.

license does include "hosts=" but only that, just blank without any hostname

also can i remove the license on old machine after I successfully register it on new machine ?

Thank you for the reply.. if the host is blank then Yes, this license can be applied on new machine as well.

Yes! We have done that multiple times.

As long as you remove on the old server, you should be good. I've never let the old server run for an extended period though.
