Dependency Between Qlik Replicate and JDK

Hi Community,

I’m currently working on a Qlik Replicate setup and came across a question regarding its dependency on the Java Development Kit (JDK).

Could someone please clarify the following:

• Does Qlik Replicate or Qlik Enterprise Manager require a specific version of the JDK to function properly?

• If so, what version(s) of JDK are officially supported or recommended?

• Are there any known compatibility issues between recent JDK versions (like JDK 17 or 21) and Qlik Replicate?

• Is JDK needed for any specific features, such as connectivity, scripting, or third-party integrations?

The reason to ask this question is because there has been a security observation where it was mentioned that current Installed version: 19.0.01 / build 19.0.1 should be updated to Fixed version: Upgrade to version 19.0.2 or greater. My current Qlik Replicate version is 2024.5.0.376.

Any guidance or reference to official documentation would be really helpful!

Thank you for reaching out to the Qlik Community.

You can find the Java version under the Qlik Replicate or Qlik Enterprise Manager folder (jvm). For example, Qlik Replicate v2024.11.0.444 is using OpenJDK 17.0.12.0.

If you suspect a vulnerability with Java, please create a support ticket. We will check with R&D, as some vulnerabilities may not impact our product.

Hello @Sreehari ,

Are you meaning the JVM in folder "C:\Program Files\Attunity\Replicate\jvm"? This is used by Endpoint Server ONLY. The major version is 11, but not 17 in Replicate 2024.5.
