A MS guy asked me , Does Qlik Replicate support SQL Server TDE ? he will be propose to some customer so he want to kow Qlik replicate support it. but I checked user guide but did not mentioned about SQL Server TDE. User Guide only mentioned Oracle TDE.
This is documented as part of SQL Server Source limitations-
The following limitations apply when accessing the backup transaction logsat file level:
Transparent Data Encryption (TDE) is not supported. Note that when accessing the backup transaction logs using SQL Server’s native functionality (i.e. not using file-level access), TDE encryptionissupported.
