End point create error

I am trying to create a new end point for Oracle and I am getting the below error

SYS-E-DESERIALERR, Failed to deserialize json to type TestDatabaseAsyncReq: SYS-E-OBJMODIF, The provided object has been modified on the server or the session have expired. Please repeat the change..
SYS,DESERIALIZE_TO_TYPE,TestDatabaseAsyncReq,SYS-E-OBJMODIF, The provided object has been modified on the server or the session have expired. Please repeat the change.

Can you please help on what the issue could be here?

Hi @SaranyaK ,

Did the endpoint ever work for you ? what's the Replicate version? What's the Oracle server version and client version? is it a 64-bit version... let me know more.

Regarding the error:

  • SYS,GENERAL_EXCEPTION,Failed to load dynamic endpoint properties.,Failed to decrypt connect item 'securityDbEncryption' Failed to decrypt data, the cipher text is corrupted

Please try re-typing in the password for this Oracle endpoint and the "Secret store encryption entries" values and test again.

BTW, it's better you work with DBA to make sure the "sqlplus" works on the Replicate Server. If it works then Replicate should work too.

Regards,

John.

Hello @SaranyaK ,

Not sure if it's a random error or persisting one. If it's random, please force refresh the GUI Console page, or close/re-open the GUI Console (or even restart the 2 services: Server and Console services) and try again.

If it persists please upload "repsrv.log" - take note if the log file contains sensitive information, do not upload it here because it's public to all visitors, please open support cases.

Hope this helps.

Regards,

John.

Hi @SaranyaK ,

It's under <Replicate_DATA_Folder>/logs.

for example on Windows the default location is "C:\Program Files\Attunity\Replicate\data\logs". On Linux it's under "/opt/attunity/replicate/data/logs".

John.

Thank you so much John, it appears there was a secret store encryption value set and after clearing it, it works. Thanks.
