Explanation of ADLS target file name timestamp

Hi,

In ADLS, Qlik Replicate creates files in this name format - "20251124092845_0_TableName.avro".

What does the timestamp in the file name represent? Is that the time at which Qlik Replicate created the file on the Qlik Replicate server? Is it the time at which the file landed in ADLS? Is it the time at which Qlik Replicate sent the file?

Help with this is truly appreciated. Thank you.

Kind regards,

Mohammed

Hello Mohammed, @MoeE

I’m not sure how those files ended up in your ADLS target, because in Qlik Replicate 2025.5 and 2025.11 the target file naming format should look like:

20251205-091658547.parquet

That filename is simply a timestamp representing when the source-changes CSV file was generated, using the Replicate Server’s UTC time.

Here’s a screenshot from my ADLS side for reference:

Also, just to confirm — the table name is not included in the target filename.

Hope this helps.

John.
