Export Task Without Endpoints (No access to Enterprise Manager)

Our team currently does not have access to Enterprise Manager. Is there any other way to export tasks WITHOUT endpoints?

Hello @Ayomi43 ,

You are right. It's only available in QEM APIs but not in Qlik Replicate command line "repctl".

Regards,

John.

Hello @Ayomi43

This is not possible to Export task without Endpoints. You may remove the Endpoints prior to import.

Hello @Ayomi43 ,

Agree with @SushilKumar . BTW, here is the similar discussion before Exporting without endpoint names

Hope it helps.

John.

This is for a production deployment. Our endpoints are named the same in all environments, but login and password are different. Exporting without endpoints already has worked for us in the past via enterprise manager. So you're effectively saying that the export without endpoint option is only available in enterprise manager?

Correct. But it is trivial to edit the 'databases' section out of the task JSON just before you stick them in your source repository is it not?
You can just use any JSON savvy editor like notepad++ or any scripting language or decent search application. Personally I always use a multi-functional Perl or Powershell script I wrote just for the purpose many years ago. Attached.
