Hi Team,
There are certain permissions that are required by the Qlik Replicate to use an Oracle source in a Replicate task. Why are each permission required by the Replicate?

In addition to the previous question, I also want to know why Qlik Replicate needs access to transaction logs while performing CDC.
Kindly answer at the earliest!
Hey @dineshkumarl ,
Thank you for reaching out with your question.
The permissions defined in the user guide are required to for Replicate to select records during Full Load or to read transactions during CDC. There are some additional ALTER permissions as well if supplemental logging is needed. Without these permissions, Replicate will encounter error and warning messages in the task.
For CDC, Replicate is designed to read from transaction logs or REDO logs (Oracle) in order to capture changes in real time and to limit the impact on source db.

@KellyHobson Thank you for the information. I have already gone through the above documents seeking required information. However, I wasn't able to find any information which provides detailed description on each Required permission for Oracle as source.
Kindly let me know if you find anything.
/Thanks
Hello as per the update from @KellyHobson the required Permissions for Oracle as shown via the below link for all the requirements. The link below is for the On-Prem Oracle environment. Also note using Replicate upper right corner you can click the Help Link and use the Search option for the requirements on Source and Targets.
Thank you!
