Licence about target7Source DBMD : how doers it work ?

Hello

we have instaleld Qlik replicate licenced in this way

]I: Licensed to ..., term license (...remaining), sources: (DB2zOS,DB2LUW,PostgreSQL,Oracle,SQLServer,FileChannel), targets: (BigQuery,Kafka,PostgreSQL,FileChannel), all hosts

If we may want to implement a Qlik CDC task that works in this way

Db2 for z/os (Source Endpoint) --> Qlik CDC --> DB2LUW (Target Endpoint)

current licence is enough to implement that ? If no what are the step to perform ?

Actually we have no need to set up that , bit i like to know the step to perform if we may need that in the future

Thanks in advance

Hi @feal

Thank you for contacting us through Qlik community.

Replicate doesn't support DB2LUW as target yet. More info: Supported target endpoints

However, You can use ODBC target endpoint to connect to DB2 LUW target endpoint.

You can configure an ODBC DSN which points to the DB2 LUW Windows Server then use the DSN in Replicate Target Endpoint. refer to below link:
Using ODBC to connect to a target

Also, Your license doesn't include ODBC endpoint as target. Kindly contact your account manager to purchase the same.

If you need help with configuration/implementation, then please reach out to professional services.

Hello @feal ,

As Geetha mentioned, it's essential to utilize ODBC to support DB2LUW as the target. For further details and limitations regarding ODBC endpoints, please refer to the user guide provided below. This guide will offer comprehensive information to assist you in configuring and optimizing your setup.

https://help.qlik.com/en-US/replicate/November2023/Content/Replicate/Main/ODBC/odbc.htm#ar_odbcds_24...

Please  make a note of below , which you can find in the user guide as well
Unless enabled through Professional Services and approved by your Account Manager, the ODBC target endpoint should not be used.
