Hi All,

From last couple of days, we are facing issue with table which is part of CDC task. For work-around, we taking out that table from Qlik cdc task and added it back. thereafter table get loaded successfully and cdc also enabled. Same error repeat again and table loading get suspended as well.

Error : Table 'table1'<' (subtask 0 thread 1) is suspended. Confluent server returned error code 400: '{"error_code":400,"message":"Illegal unquoted character ((CTRL-CHAR, code 15)): has to be escaped using backslash to be included in string value"}'.; Failed to publish new schema to subject 'prod.domain.demo.table1.v1-value'.; Failed to publish schema message for table table1.v1 (replicationtask.c:3150

Source database : Informix
Target : Confluent kafka

Hello @amit-lamba-ns ,

Thanks for reaching out to Qlik Community!

I'm not entirely sure what's the Replicate & Confluent versions you are running now. In my labs, Replicate 2024.5 + Informix 14.10 + Confluent 7.6 works fine for me:

I'd like suggest you opening a support ticket with below information:

1. The source table creation DDL include PK and Indexes information

2. Set SOURCE_CAPTURE/TARGET_APPLY to Verbose and reproduce the error

3. Provide the task Diagnostics Packages

4. Please do not forget to decypt the task log files, and attach it to support ticket.

5. If you can provide some demo rows in Informix then it's much helpful.

Regards,

John.
