Hi,
We want to install Qlik Replicate on Linux (on premise) with the following configurations -
1. Oracle 19.x as source and AWS S3 as target
2. Greenplum as source and AWS S3 as target
3. Shared Drive File System as source and AWS S3 as target
Can you please help with the pre-requisites and installation steps. Any specific permissions and access to be configured on Oracle and Greenplum for DB Log access?
-thanks
Sanjeev
@SanjeevAsher You can find all the pre-requisites in the below user guide.
https://help.qlik.com/en-US/replicate/May2021/Content/Replicate/Main/Introduction/Home.htm
If you encounter any specific issues then please open a case. If you need end-to-end support on your new implementation then Please contact our professional services team.
Thanks,
Swathi
@SwathiPulagam is correct. Anytime you want to set up a new environment, you should check for ODBC drivers and Environment levels that are supported for that version of Replicate, simply by clicking the link above.
Also in the User Guide link, near the bottom left is the Support Matrix that shows the versions of the Source and targets and OS Levels.
In the sections of the User Guides for each source and target, it will explain the permissions, requirements, and any limitations that you should be aware of.
Please read through these to verify you have the correct environments.
And of course, ALWAYS test in non-prod before moving anything to PROD. 😉
Hope this helps!
Sincerely
Barb
