Qlik Replicate November 2022 version causing existing tasks to fail

We have several tasks that have been running for more than a year. We were on QDI version May 2021 latest patch. After we upgrade to November 2022, there are a few tasks started giving issues and failed. Our source DB is Oracle 11g. Target DB is MySQL 8.0.30

Error as shown. I have to reload the full table to workaround. But occasionally it still give error from time to time. Previously with May 2021 version, there's no such issue.

Hi @desmondchew

I see you have also opened a support case, which is good as we may need to involve our internal support team for resolution.

Thanks,

Dana

Hi,

Thank you for the post to the QDI Forums. I would suggest installing the 8.0.23 ODBC Driver for MySQL as noted in the Replicate User Guide. See link below:

https://help.qlik.com/en-US/replicate/May2022/Content/Replicate/Main/Google%20Cloud%20MySQL/google_p...

Thanks!

Bill

@desmondchew

Thanks for your question. I see you are using the wrong driver. The November 2022  doc states the following:

  1. Install MySQL ODBC Unicode Driver 64-bit version 8.0.30 on the Replicate machine.

Please install ONLY the 8.0.30  release of the driver. This is the driver version we have certified it with.

Hope this helps.
