Record processing failed - Failed to get column def by name: '(expression)'

I am seeing this error when we do the load for 4-5 tables using Qlik Replicate tool. The source is Informix and target is Azure SQL. The load begins and continues for a while before hitting this error.

Can you please help about this error and how this can be resolved? Thanks.

Hi @sid7

I apologize but our task log isn't giving us a very detailed message to troubleshoot with.

1. Is the table name it's having trouble with listed in the log file prior to the screen capture you shared? If not, can you increase logging for Source_Capture to trace to capture more information? Please closely monitor disk space while logging is elevated and reduce it as soon as the error happens.

2. Please check our documented limitations with Informix source in case they are relevant to this use case: Limitations and considerations #Limitations and considerations | Qlik Replicate Help

Thanks,

Dana

P.S. As always, if a quicker response is needed or you are not comfortable posting detailed logs publicly, please open a support case.

You're welcome @sid7

If we can get the table name captured in the log, we can take a look at the attributes / metadata for it, compare it to the target, etc. Maybe there is a special column that is a limitation or that we are not handling as we should.

Thanks,

Dana

Hello @sid7 ,

IN additional to @Dana_Baldwin comments, would you please confirm if LogStream is used in your tasks? If yes, in which task you got this error?

Regards,

John.

Hi Team,

Due to some issue, we are reloading the source Informix DEV database again from backup. Will update the thread in the next couple of days when I start migrating the data.

Thanks.
