Regarding RDS for MySQL

Hi Team,

Can we connect MYSQL RDS endpoint(url ) instead of IP in Qlik Replicate endpoint setting.

Also, is there any network setting we need to done ?

Thanks for opening the article.

If I understood correctly, you want to input "hostname" or an URL rather than IP Address of the MySQL Server in the source endpoint connection information, YES, you can, if the OS (it's out of Replicate scope) can recognize the hostname or URL. Certainly you may use OS file "hosts" ("hosts" on windows, or "/etc/hosts" file on Linux), or the network DNS settings to manage the hostname and IP mapping.

Qlik Replicate utilizes MySQL ODBC Client connect to MySQL Server via TCP/IP connection. Feel free to let me know if you are facing any issues.
