Regarding to access Qlik Replicate console

Hello Team,

I'm currently facing an issue while trying to access the Qlik Replicate console from the server. Every time I attempt to access the console, a pop-up requesting the username and password appears.

As per my understanding, user password is asked only for one time when we logged for first time. Is there any way to avoid the pop up again and again.

Regards,

Pranita

Hello @Pranita123

I think you need to check on Browser settings on why it is popping up for username and password again and again.

Suresh

What account are you logged in as (whomai) and what are the credentials that get you in.

Maybe the UI log will show what  default login login is attempted.

Finally, what replicate security setting do you believe should work for your brower's process username. The Replicate install process will have created an admin entry for the username performing the install. Is that the one you are using. If not, create a similar entry for yourself - server --> User Permissions

It may also be helpful to right click on the browser item on the task bar and experiment with 'run as'

O don't think it has anything to do with browsers saving username/password. That first connection attempt is strictly based on the process credential - either the user itself, or an Active Domain membership. No username/pass involved.

Hein.

Hello @Pranita123 ,

Make sure the browser "Automatically save passwords" (in Edge) and/or "Sign in Automatically"  (in Chrome) are enabled, or when the prompt pops up select the SAVE password in the browser.

Regards,

John.
