Hello @plai_raditya ,

Welcome to Qlik Community!

For the upgrade, Replicate 2022.11 is highly recommended (the latest major version is 2023.5), all the supported versions can be found in page Qlik Replicate Product Lifecycle.

Upgrading from unsupported versions 6.3 takes additional steps, the major steps:

  1. Upgrade to Replicate 6.5.
  2. Upgrade to Replicate 2020.11 (7.0).
  3. Upgrade to Replicate 2021.11.
  4. Upgrade to Replicate 2022.11.

Please check 2022.11 Release notes for further information.

Based on the above versions, you can download them from Qlik Download Site (Except Replicate 6.5, we can provide you a separate link for v6.5).

However as Replicate 6.3 system was setup many years ago, please verify the new systems:

1- OS are supported (Windows, or Linux)

2- source database, target database are supported

3- source database client software, and target database client software are supported

Please check Replicate 2022.11 support matrix.

4- ".Net framework" version is installed (for Windows)

5- Browser version is supported

6- Service Name is changed between v6.3 and v2022.11

7- Some internal parameters default values are changed between v6.3 and v2022.11

8- Some header column(s) name or internal format are changed between v6.3 and v2022.11

9- Make sure to back up the data folder in every step so far you can withdraw to previous version if hit failure

In my opinion, I'd like to prefer to setup latest version straightly on new servers (the old server is retiring , right?)  and setup the tasks from scratch if possible. This is a simpler and quicker approach.

Hope this helps.

Regards,

John.

Hello Team,

unfortunately, you are running on OUT of Support version. You have to perform Multi tier upgarde to get to the latest upgrade QR 2023 May release.

Incremental upgrades do not require you to uninstall the product before upgrading. You can directly run the installer to upgrade to the next version. Always backup between versions to ensure a smooth transition and that tasks still work.

 6.3 -> 7.0 -> 2021.5 -> (2021.11 or 2022.5) -->  2023.5

You may need to raise Support case to get the downloadable link.

Regards,

Sushil Kumar
