Using AWS S3 as a source (full load only)

I have a data source on S3 that I want to replicate to Redshift.

Obviously I know that there's not CDC component here, but a scheduled, overwriting, full load, would satisfy this particular requirement.

Yet I don't see S3 as an available data source, only as a target ?

Is there a reason or concept that I am missing as to why ?

Thanks

Hey @simonB2020 ,

I do not have a definitive answer why this this is not a currently supported endpoint, i.e technical reasons or not enough customers requesting this source, ect.

That being said, I encourage you to submit a request to our Product Ideas page.

To get started please see our article: "Getting Started with Ideas": https://community.qlik.com/t5/Qlik-Product-Insight-Blog/Getting-Started-with-Ideas/ba-p/1684011

As a Qlik Community member, you can actively engage with our Product Management team, vote on a product idea coming for other Qlik customers, submit your own ideas and get feedback from other members.

Best,

Kelly
