Hi Support,
I'd just like to confirm whether an Oracle Autonomous Data Warehouse (ADW) can be used as a source in older versions of Qlik Replicate (pre-Nov2024). The user guide for Qlik Replicate November 2024 mentions in the Using Oracle as a Source section, under Limitations and Considerations that replicating data from an ADW is not supported.
However, this limitation isn't listed in earlier editions of the user guide. Does that imply that earlier versions of Qlik Replicate supported replicating data from Oracle ADW?
Thanks,
Nak
Hi @NakulanR
While I don't have a definitive answer, we generally don't skip versions when certifying an endpoint type. It would be very unusual for a later version not to support something than an earlier version did - the safe bet is just that we had overlooked including that limitation in our documentation on the earlier versions.
Thanks,
Dana
Hello Nak, @NakulanR
Qlik Replicate does not support autonomous database (both ATP & ADW) as source endpoint yet.
Hope this helps.
John.

Hi @NakulanR
In earlier versions, this limitation was simply not documented, but that does not imply support.
As Oracle Autonomous Data Warehouse is a cloud managed and has architectural differences compared to traditional Oracle DBs there would be some restrictions for qlik replicate to access supplemental logs. Hope this helps.
Thanks
