What files in /opt/attunity/replicate directory that begin with Core

Hi,

I noticed that there are so many Core.{running number} files found in /opt/attunity/replicate directory that occupied >95% of a mount point in Linux.

May I know usage of these files and is it safe to delete them?

Thanks & Regards,

Rudy

Hello Rudy, @roodee ,

Looks like you opened a support case for the same issue. We are working on the case right now.

You are right - these core dump files can be deleted safely, looks like the task crashed and these core dump files were generated. We need the Replicate Server log file and corresponding task log file to understand the task crash.  Once the task crash issue solved then no core dump file will be generated.

Feel free let me know if you need any additional information.

Regards,

John.

Hi John,

Yes, I have deleted the other support case as I posted it in a wrong category.

Thank you for your explanation and I will delete old files and keep most recent files only for troubleshooting in case if it is needed.

Regards,

Rudy

You are right. Thank you so much for your support.

In the meanwhile we will continue to trace the task crash issue to solve the problem completely.
