repository object of target database <database name> in task <task name> not found..

I am getting a global warning on my Qlik Replicate server of:

repository object of target database <database name> in task <task name> not found..

The task that this warning is referring to is running  fine it seems and it appears randomly.  We aren't even editing the task.

I would just like to understand what this means and why it is occurring.

@zacker20

1. what version of Replicate are you running, exact version.

2. could you provide the repsrv log from the ~replicate\data\logs for review?

====

we have similar issue and resolve below :

Based on entries in the repsrv log file, we found two tasks that referred to corrupted source & target endpoint connections: somestrange_SRC somethingstrange_SRC The tasks showed that endpoints were assigned, but that they had an "unknown type". These endpoints were not showing in the list of available endpoints when we opened "manage endpoint connections".

To resolve the issue, we created the endpoints using the same name, then removed the bad endpoint records from the tasks and added the new, good endpoints we created, which resolved the issue.

We received a support case which has a similar error message. It looks like the root cause is the repository got corrupted. Customer did a reinstallation and fixed the issue.

Hello @zacker20

Request you to please export and then  import the task again and see if it updates the Repository if not then replicate installation is the only option to fix the issue.

Hello @zacker20 ,

Error message : repository object of target database <database name> in task <task name> not found..

The repository of your Replicate Server is corrupted.

You may need to reinstall your Replicate server and rebuild the endpoints and tasks from scratch.

If you have too many endpoints and tasks, you can export the task one by one first before doing the reinstallation.
