I stumbled upon this feature while trying desperately to simply get a list of items displayed in the QMC exported into an Excel spreadsheet. If there are other simpler methods, please let me know.
The tip requires OneNote and Excel and Internet Explorer (Other browsers not tested)

I should provide an update and say that this is sooooo much easier now in Edge browser.
Just use CTRL + SHIFT + X then copy and paste to excel.
Another simple way is to install google chrome extension https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/export-qlik-sense-qmc-tab/dbnjjihpapafmihpnionckfipbmalhko...
Yet another way is to open Dev tools on the browser. Select the element with the table/grid - select copy Outer HTML. Paste into Excel. It handles HTML tables quite well.
