Ajax client - How it works?

I have a query based on Ajax client

Does this need to be packaged and installed onto certain users machines or how Ajax client will get accommodated..

No, AJAX clients need no local packages installed.

Nothing additional is required for Ajax.

Everything that is needed to make the ajax "client" work is sent by the web server (QVWS or IIS) to a simple browser on the users machine. A user only needs to have a (recent) browser installed.
