We are trying to use the Governance Dashboard 2.1.4 We are seeing Anonymous in the authenticate user area, but not sure how that is being displayed since anonymous is prohibited as shown below. Any thoughts?
He @FrankC ,
The underlying cause for this issue you're seeing in the Governance Dashboard is due to a defect confirmed by Qlik R&D in 12.50 IR and SR1. It has been fixed in the April 2020 SR3 release. You can review the Release Notes which states:
Authenticated user is not listed in sessions log on QV 12.50
Jira issue ID: QV-20734
This change fixes issue where "Authenticated User" filed is empty in QVS Session Log.
Also, see Qlik Support article Governance Dashboard showing users as Anonymous for a work around.
Once you have either upgraded to 12.50 SR3 or implemented the workaround listed in the above article, you'll need to delete the QVGD DVDs and rerun the reload of the QVGD so new QVDs are generated. This will remove the anonymous users listed in the QVDs.
Best Regards

@Chip_Matejowsky, the link for workaround is broken, do you know where I can find the article?
Hi @SandeepG,
This issue was due to a defect in QlikView version April 2020 IR and SR1 and fixed in April 2020 SR3 and all later versions of QlikView. It seems that the article I referenced above in my previous comment from May 2021 has been retired. I believe article https://community.qlik.com/t5/Knowledge/Governance-dashboard-not-functioning-well-after-QlikView-Apr... includes the same information.
If you're still running QV version April 2020 IR or SR1, suggest that you upgrade as that version has reached its end of life and is no longer supported. You can upgrade to versions 12.60 or 12.70 (released today - 05/10/22).
Best Regards
