Can we create a Reusuable Generic report structure in Qliview?

Hi All,

I know it could be asking for too much, But from last few dashboards we noticed that our users are requesting a set structure and format of reports.

Typical structure is : Container containing 4 pivot tables. structure and expression remains same each time just filter changes.

We suggested putting a pre selection listbox for filters and just have a single report but was not able to sale it (As not all users know the what all need to be filtered on. )

Is it possible to create a report template which can be used every time we want to create a similar report and then we just go and modify the filters in expressions ?

Thanks

Yes. Create qlikview documents that contain the objects you want to reuse. You can use these documents to copy the objects from to another document and then modify the copied objects as needed.

It is natural just to make selections.  If some users don't know what to select - create document bookmark for them.  And, train users to work with selections and bookmarks, of course.

Thanks For the reply, Yes we are following copy paste method as of now. We are at 11.2, unfortunately it is not smooth way if we have multiple containers embedded inside.
