I assume the user cannot open the document shown on the Access Point ?

The access point is just a URL the user knows to use, you may have to look into IIS to

filter out users in a AD Group from accessing this specific (Intranet ?) URL

Assuming I have understood your question.

The user can not see the qvw application but what I want is user must not allow to log in to access point. For more information, I use qlikview web server Not IIS.

Hi Jaturong,

This is a great question that I've been trying for quite sometime. QVMC do not have particular security setting to control the access of the QV AP. I even tried to playing around with local security permission to deny the access on QV AP's webserver files, unfortunately ended with "no luck".

Seem like the temporary solution is to use the GPO to prevent certain users (within a group) to access the QV AP URL while waiting for the newer release to have the control segment.

Regards,

Kho
