How to restrict access of Assigned Users to different qvw files

Hi,

I have QlikView Management Service (Client Build Number 9.0.7440.8).

I want to restrict access of Assigned Users to different qvw files.

For example: user1 can view only file1, and user2 can view only file2. But currently I have user1 & user2 can view file1 & file2.

Please advice me how to solve my example.

hi,

There are two methods to do it.  NTFS or DMS.

If you are using NTFS then you should go to the mounted folder --> right click the application file -->security--->

And the user to whom the application needs to be seen.

If you are using DMS  go to management console --> Select user document tab --> click on the application and you will see authorization on the right hand side... Add the user name into it...

Attach snap shot will help you in understand , the type of authorization currently you are using..

Hi,

Go to QEMC --> System --> Setup --> QlikView Server --> Select security tab.

Check the authorization selected to know what you are using.

Hope it helps
