In Qlik View Server, the same user can Lease a License twice?

eg:

My User is: DICEap

The lease license was done on JAN-2014 with (User: DICEap) user and the same was coming in history tab.

whether, Now am able to lease license once again with the same user (User: DICEap)?

With leasing, you are restricted to two leases per Named CAL. You can verify this in the QMC -> Users -> <userID> CAL and look for the type License Lease. The source will provide you with the machine name the license is leased to.

Yes. You can lease each Named CAL to two different MAC addresses.

having limited knowledge in this area but I think license is leased for 30 days at a time. If user has not connected in 30 days, the status will change back to personal edition.

How to differ the MAC addresses? actually am trying to lease second time, but still it was showing as personal edition

Hi,

Each machine will have different mac address.

Make sure your qlikview server is reachable from second PC and make sure you don't have firewall in between.
