Maximum DocumentCals of 25 for a QlikviewDocument

Hello,

We have a Qlikviewdocument called SalesReport.  We have 25 UserCals  and 30 DocumentCals.

At the moment 25 DocumentCals are assigned to the Document SalesReport. We cannot assign another DocumentCal.

We have a Small Business Edition of Qlikview Server.

Can someone tell me what the reason is and how I can solve the problem

Hi @pacoli2013 ,

Your QlikView Server license has 30 total Document CALs provisioned and you have allocated 25 Doc CALs to SalesReport.qvw. Your expectation is that you should have 5 more Doc CALs available to be allocated, but are not able to do so. Is this accurate? You are wanting to assign more Doc CALs to the SalesReport.qvw? Or, to another QVW?

If you want to assign more Doc CALs to SalesReport.qvw, first check to see how many  total Doc CALs are allocated the QVW in the QMC > Documents > User Documents > SalesReport.qvw > Document CALs tab > Number of CALs Allocated to this Document section. Is the total 25? If so, increase the number to the desired amount and click Apply button. Then you should be able to assign more Doc CALs.

You may need to check all of the QVWs listed under QMC > Documents > User Documents and add up all the Doc CALs of the other QVWs to ensure you have enough available.

If you add up all the Doc CALs for the QVWs and you can't account for some of the CALs, have a look at the Qlik Support article "How To Recover Document CALs Assigned To A Deleted QVW". This article details steps you can take to resolve.

Please post back with more questions or to let us know if issue is resolved.

Hello,

Thank you for your support.

The Problem is solved.

A colleague had reappointed a QV document and created  a "deleted DocumentCal".

We have recovered that DocumentCal and activated for our SalesReport.
