Migrate a Qlikview 9 server to a new server and upgrade to 11

Hi Guys

We have a single old server running Qlikview 9 and we would like to migrate this to a new server that we also want to update to version 11.

What are the steps required to complete this work. Is it better to migrate to version 9 on the new server and then upgrade or can we migrate straight to version 11. Ideally I would like to leave the old server available as a roll back plan so we can do some testing on the new version before we do the final go live switch over.

Please let me have your thoughts.

I would do:

1) Fresh install on new server

2) Copy your apps

3) Stop old server services

4) Start new server services

Of course it depends of how many tasks and users you have
