QDS restarting unexpectedly in QV 11

Hi,

We are facing often automatic QDS getting down in QMC eventhough , QDS service is showing running in windows services.

There is no error in ManagementService log.

And sometimes we got this error in application log in event viewer :

Application: QVDistributionService.exe Framework Version: v4.0.30319 Description: The process was terminated due to an unhandled exception. Exception Info: System.Net.Sockets.SocketException Stack: at System.Net.Sockets.Socket.AcceptCallback(System.Object) at System.Net.Sockets.Socket.RegisteredWaitCallback(System.Object, Boolean) at System.Threading._ThreadPoolWaitOrTimerCallback.PerformWaitOrTimerCallback(System.Object, Boolean)

It happens in QV IR and SR 1 also, Any suggestions ?

Hi,

a have similar issue, but QDS stops after reloading for a long time (15 - 20 hours)

Error:

Application: QVDistributionService.exe

Stack:

   at System.Runtime.Fx+AsyncThunk.UnhandledExceptionFrame(System.IAsyncResult)

Hi,

Does it also behaves like:

Are tasks hang? means not able to abort it after it was finished ?

1. Task is reloaded successfully but still showing in running mode in QMC. (document logs)

2. Task is distributed successfully and available in mountedfolder (Task log)
3. In QMC, qds stopped mode but still task isshowing in running status in QMC.
4. In Root log, no task started, after task is hanged.
5. And in windows event log and found in application some  .net error ?

Hey guys,

is there anything in the windows eventlog log? I've a sim issue with internal production machine, and I got some "usbperformance' erros in win evt log.

Facing same problem also. The event is also not retraceable because same problem appears with qvw being 1 MB or 400 MB.

Reload of QVW's always end properly and distribution is taking a very big amount of time with QDS going down periodically.

Would be very helpful if some of the Qliktech guys would have an idea.

Can you post the full logs? It is hard to tell anything from the information that has been given.
