After updating to Qlikview November 2018, it became possible to edit and delete objects in an application open on the server.
The corresponding context menu items appeared in the thick client (remove, property).
Of course, the changes made are not saved and are available only in the current session.
In the webclient, object properties are not available, but deletion is available.
This "functionality" error or extension of possibilities is not absolutely clear.
But this leads to a number of undesirable consequences. For example, it is now not possible to hide a table column from a user, since any user can simply disable the "visibility condition".
Is there any way to disable or manage this "functionality".
I just confirmed your experience. That strikes me as a bug. Please contact QT support.

Thank's Rob.
I will. How do you think, aren't there too much such serious mistakes lately? Maybe qlik developers totally forgotten for what need QA?
Hello,
This has been looked into by our developers already and is a known defect. We hope to see it resolved at the earliest. See article 000061873 for details.
