QV and Citrix

Hi,

I am working with a new client who is very interested in using QV in their environment however have asked if there are any issues using it in a Citrix environment?

Not having experienced this myself I wonder does anyone out there have any success / failure stories they can share along with details of versions of software they were using in each scenario.

We used to use Qlikview (8.20) with Citrix (dont know the version number) and it worked just fine.

Hi Gary,

We had a few users who were interested in using QV through Citrix. When we first testes, everything seemed fine, but when the users tried to install the IE-plugin they weren't allowed because of system rights.

If you instead choose to use Ajax (or Java) the problem is gone.

We used Presentation Server 4.5

Why would the users need to install the plugin? Thats installed on the Citrix servers?
