QV9 SR6: The QlikView Server service terminated unexpectedly

We keep getting the below error in the Windows System Log -

"The QlikView Server service terminated unexpectedly. It has done this 1 time(s). The following corrective action will be taken in 10 milliseconds: Restart the service."

Corresponding error at the same time in the Windows Application Log -

The description for Event ID ( 120 ) in Source ( QlikViewServer ) cannot be found. The local computer may not have the necessary registry information or message DLL files to display messages from a remote computer. You may be able to use the /AUXSOURCE= flag to retrieve this description; see Help and Support for details. The following information is part of the event: Internal inconsistency, type D, detected., , .

I can also see the below log in the QV Event log, though not at the same time with the above error time -

2011-02-03 00:34:09 2011-02-04 02:05:16 1 120 Error Server aborted trying to recover by restart. Reason for restart: Phoenix detected: Performance monitor stuck

Brief description of our environment -

QVS with IIS

QV Version 9 with SR6

NTFS, with Windows AD Authentication

OS - Windows 2003 R2, 64bit

Server Config: 64GB Memory and 4Xquadcore processor

Any Idea what is causing this errors...

We are having the same issue currently. Do you have more than one server and have them windows clustered together?

Yes, we have more then one server, but running with different license and not in cluster. Not sure if it goes to any cluster mode automatically.

We have two QV9 SR6 and one QV8.5 SR - Need to check

We started seeing these issues after doing a windows cluster on our two servers. We thought this was the cause but it appears not since you are having the same issue. I will let you know if we figure anything out on our end.

it is bugs in QV 9 SR6 and it is corrected in QV 9 SR7.

pls upgrade your QV Setup.

Did you say that this error messagem is a bug in QV 9 SR6, but i'm using QV 10 SR4 and got the same error.

Any idea?

The Same error appears with QV11 SR2, ideas??

We are having the same with our 11.20 so it is not fixed. Tha causes may differ but the error messages are the same.

I concur with the above,

We are having similar issues with our Qlikview servers.

We're receving the message 'The Qlikview Server service terminated unexpectedly.  It has done this 1 time(s).  The following corrective action will be taken in 10 milliseconds: Restart the service.'

Result is that the service is being restarted; the issue seems to occurs at random times.

Note: We are using Qlikview 10SR4.
