QlikView 9 users cannot access properties of objects which I create in Developer

Hello,

I noticed with QlikView 9 Server that users cannot access the properties of objects which I create in Developer.

However if a user creates an object (chart) in server they can access the properties. Is there a setting I can use to allow users to modify the properties of all objects which I create in developer when they run the document using QlikView Server and the IE plugin.

Thank You,

Hi,

No, there's a difference between document objects and server objects. The ones created in the document are set and can't be changed in the Client/Server environment. Collaboration objects that are created and shared between users can be changed though. Of couse you could create a document with a script but an empty layout and then create all objects as Shared server objects. The definitions for these objects will reside in a file called Documentname.qvw.SHARED in the same folder as the QlikView file Documentname.qvw.

With version 9 SR3 now is possible to view properties of objects created in Developer.

How is this possible,

I have created objects in Developer (9 SR3), but when i publish them via Publisher (9 SR3), the clients cannot edit properties from IE Plugin.

Clients can easily create objects but not view/change properties on existing objects.

Are there any settings i need to do?
