I want to make the qvw file visible in the QlikView AccessPoint browser.
I set it up like this, but I don't know what the problem is.
Please tell me how!
Hello @qwebnm ,
Is odd you can see the such qvws as they are not included either on the Root folder neither on the Mounted folder.
As they are located directly on H: and the root folder is H:\\QlikView and neither on the C:\ProgramData\QlikTech\Documents.
I would advise to keep user documents on the Mounted folder, hence you can move the qvw's there or create a new mounted folder and move there.
Also, I suggest you to not have subfolder included neither on the Root or mounted folder as the QlikView server will scan all the files included in such sub-directories and could impact the Access Point loading performance.
Last, but not least, also check the authorization part, as a reminder:
Hence, if using NTFS and a new storage you need to ensure the users/groups are correctly added on the Windows file system.
Cheers,
Albert
Hello @qwebnm, thank you for posting to our Qlik Community. Have you put the documents under C:\ProgramData\QlikTech\Documents? I am asking so because I do not fully understand the images attached, as it is a different alphabet 🙂 Thank you!
The services-user and the users need access to this folder. Therefore the applications are usually on a file-share located and not within C:\.

The document must be in a mounted folder. You have mapped your mounted folder to C:\ProgramData\QlikTech\Documents.
Since you a publisher, you should let the publisher distribute the document. When the document is distributed it will give the right permissions on disk. You can also change it manually, for testing. Any user accessing a document needs at least read rights to the qvw document, on disk.
This tutorial and article should help you further

C:\ProgramData\QlikTech\Documents and H:\QlikView are located in two paths.

The way users access this folder is set the Root Folder path in System-Setup-Folders.
Or is there another way?
Do you mean to make a task schedule and reload and run to distribute the document?
I set it to H:\QlikView in System-Setup-Folders-Root Folder.
1. And put the qvw file in H:\QlikView
2. DSC-Custom Directory-Create Account
3.Other settings
4. Log in to the access point with the created account
I did this but it doesn't show up in the accesspoint browser.
Did I set it up wrong?
What should I do?
Did you create users / usergroups within the custom-directory settings and afterwards enabling them within the qmc document-settings by authorization?
