QlikView Server unable to lease a licence to a different domain user

Hi all,

UI am facing the following problem.

I have installed  QlikView server in a specific domain (let's say DomainS).

A User belong to another Domain (let's say DomainU)

In LDAP service i read DomainU users but it seems the user is tored not as DomainU/username but as DomainS/username.

The server is not able to lease a licence cause it said that the assigned cal user diffres from the user who requested the lease.

Can anyone help me ?

Thanks in advance, Marcello

Hi Albert,

I have tried the steps you suggested me with no success:

I have looked at the custom login configuration, but when i click on apply it change context (I do not know if settings ore stored or not), I supposes they are stored so I've configured access point login page as you told me.

But when i try to go to the access point login page i get an error.

Single steps documented with screenshots in the attachment.

Thanks for your replies.

Cheers, Marcello

Hello @marcello ,

Instead of localhost could you kindly use the FQN of the server or the url that you use to access the Access Point from outside the QlikView server itself and try again.

Cheers,

Albert

Hi , Albert

unfortunatly, even using FQN gave me the same result I have posted before.

Thanks @marcello.

This is a pretty weird and I though might be environment related, but at this stage might be worth raising a case with Qlik Support to have a quick look. As said and to set up expectations, seems could be environment since the Access Point cannot be even opened on the QlikView Desktop.

Cheers,

Albert
